Why choose Flower & Stone?
Our approach is connection-first and completely customizable to you. Whether you’re brand new, rebuilding your confidence, wanting to refine your riding, or just looking for a place to slow down and spend time with horses, we’ll meet you where you are.
As a women-owned business, part of what matters most to us is making horses and horsemanship feel more accessible to everyday people, not just those who grew up in the horse world. Just real horsemanship, good horses, and a welcoming place to learn, grow, and have fun doing it.
Flower & Stone represents the balance between softness and strength that good horsemanship requires. Learning when to listen and soften, when to be clear and confident, and how to stay grounded through it all.
We offer a customizable lesson program in Georgetown, TX with trail rides and women’s retreats that get us back into nature, as well as unique horse experiences like paint-the-pony parties, horseback portraits, bareback swimming, and more.
There’s a different way to work with your horse
Reward-based training just isn't softer or slower. It's more precise, and it gets to the root of what's actually going on between you and your horse.
I
Partnership over performance
The goal isn't a perfectly obedient horse. It's a horse that genuinely wants to work with you.
II
Results that last
Reward-based training builds understanding, not compliance. That's why the changes stick, even when you're not in the arena.
III
You stop guessing
When you understand what your horse is communicating, every session gets clearer. No more wondering what went wrong.
Hi, I’m Jasmine Jade
Hi, I’m Jasmine Jade, the riding instructor and horsewoman behind Flower & Stone.
With over 10 years of horsemanship experience, I’ve learned that some of the best riding happens when we stop trying to control the horse and start learning how to listen. My approach is connection-first, blending practical horsemanship and rider biomechanics with trauma-informed principles, embodiment, and nervous system awareness.
Flower & Stone represents the duality I believe good horsemanship requires, the softness to listen, feel, and connect, and the strength to communicate clearly, set boundaries, and stay grounded.
I work with riders at every level, from beginners finding their footing to experienced riders who’ve hit a wall, and horse owners who love their horse but struggle with the tension that can show up in the saddle. I actually started teaching at a girls’ summer riding camp in Wimberley, so the little riders will always have a special place in my heart.
Whether you’re learning to ride, rebuilding confidence in yourself or your horse, or looking for more feel and refinement, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build a partnership that feels good for both of you.
